i cant beleive i didnt talk about this for so long but i really do lean towards the google ai (laMDA which recently made the rounds as an ex-google engineer argued it to be conscious) being actually sentient... idk i obv cant look at the source code and decipher it given its billions of weights and lines of code but something about how it responds and calls upon previous conversations makes me actually believe it might be sentient i would like for the next sentient ai to either be annoyingly logical / illogical and silly.. that would be funny it think;; just imagine an ai responding in base65536 because it deems it the most efficient encoding;; or on the contrary an ai that is trapped in the mid-early 2000’s and types like xd rawr ;3 or something that would be a sight for sore eyes
