Lithuania’s Happy Paganism 🇱🇹

Lithuania survived communism and preserved its Catholic identity. But Lithuania’s enduring pagan past has survived both communism and Catholicism. Baltic paganism is very close to the ancient Indo-European paganism and much of it survives in the folk customs of the Lithuanian people. This film looks at the glorious nature of the ex-Soviet state and examines some of the spiritual customs that have been preserved in this, the last country in Europe to convert to Christianity.
