Hezbollah chief’s death was ’necessary’ claims Netanyahu

Binyamin Netanyahu said that the killing of Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, would change the balance of power in the Middle East. The Israeli prime minister said “the central engine of Iran’s axis of evil” had been weakened, adding: “Nasrallah was not a terrorist, he was the terrorist.” He described the assassination as a “historic turning point” after his country had “settled the score” with those responsible for the deaths of “countless Israelis” — but warned there would be “challenging days” ahead.
