These are the remarks of Vitalik Buterin at ETHNewYork. ETHNewYork was an ethereum focused hackathon that took place May 8-10, 2019. These remarks were part of the opening ceremony. ETHNewYork included a series of ethereum focused workshops, as well as workshops about related technologies, D’Apps and tools. ETHNewYork was a hackathon organized by ETHGlobal and a team of hackers, developers and enthusiasts interested in building and creating in the ethereum ecosystem. It took place for 3 days at New Lab at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
