How to billy-goat up to Homesteader’s Respite from the bottom (no rope!)

The Long Dark / Ash Canyon ... It’s actually possible to climb up to Homesteader’s Respite (from Bitter Marsh) without a rope, incurring only one sprain. This is an enormous shortcut which will probably save you at least a full day in-game.
