hellooooooo forgive me for missing half the chorus haha but just wanted to yolo it so here we are! sometimes life gets really heavy and so do our hearts and sometimes our hearts really do start feeling like landfills. our hearts get filled with so many worries, stresses, heartbreaks, struggles, sickness, or sometimes they feel robbed BUT i love that in the Bible there’s an instance where Jesus is talking and He says ““Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”“ (Matthew 11:28-30) The Lord knows that life is hard and He knows we get tired, sooo the Lord in His kindness gives us the opportunity to give Him our burdens which could be anything from loss, heartbreak, depression, anxiety, the list goes on. He can take anything that’s weighing down your heart and He’s strong enough to take it and He nailed it on the cross that He died on, and defeated our struggles because He conquered the cross! The Lord is capable of saving us from even our worst struggles, BUT in order for Him to do that you have to let Him become the Lord of your life and you have to accept His salvation, believing that Jesus is the Son of God and the Lamb who was slain for our sins! “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.“ - Romans 10:9 SOOOO if you’re feeling tired, if you feel like you wanna give up or life is getting too hard, call on the name of the Lord, delcare that Jesus is Lord and ask Him to be your Lord AND your Savior:) He always answers when you call on Him! it may look different than you expected but He ALWAYS answers:) love you
