Gift, 1993

This is a reupload of Perry Farrell’s docudrama from 1993. It features his then girlfriend Kasey Niccoli and his band Jane’s Addiction along with some local folk from Venice Beach, California.. With live performances and studio recording footage from the Ritual de lo Habitual Album, it is a must-see for any Jane’s fan. I’ve never found a soundtrack to this film but, it would feature Ice T, and local Venice Beach street musician Harry Perry. I was fortunate enough to see this film in the Dobie theater when it came out with a ragtag group of my neerdowell friends from high school. Honestly, I’m lucky to remember it at all. Of course, I purchased this on VHS so it’s long been lost to me and sorely missed. I do not own this film or any rights to this film. I am sharing it because I would like more people to see it.
