This album, first released in 1966 was later reissued on the Interdisc label. The Spotnicks were formed in Göteborg, Sweden in 1961 and exhibited a guitar sound similar to the Ventures and the Shadows. They released over 40 albums with their popularity extending across Europe and to Japan and Australia. In 1963, the scoed a UK Top-20 hit with Hava Nagila on the Oriole label. This year (2020) saw the passing of two of the group’s early members - Bo Winberg in January and Bob Lander in May.
