Saenghwang - Live on the Wind ’Sangju Arirang’ Sangju Arirang, a folk song of Gyeongsang-do, is a variation created through an encounter between Arirang of Gangwon-do and Menarijo (a traditional musical tone in Korea) of Gyeongsang-do, and is expressing the adversities of the general public who are forced to leave their homelands, headed to overseas countries such as Manchuria, after having had their land defiled during the Japanese military occupation of Korea.
