Katie Malik - Kulning at Echo Ridge summons a deer!

Kulning is an ancient Swedish folk singing technique that was originally used to call in herds from the fields and forests. I learned this Kulning tune yesterday, and since I found myself on a wooded hike through Echo Ridge this morning I decided to see what it sounded like out in a setting similar to where this song originally came from. Didn’t have any cattle nearby to try it out on... but did get a surprise when it drew this pretty lady in for a visit!
