Chinese showcase commercial drone with fibre optic control
Such drones are protected from electronic warfare. The Russian counterpart - FPV drone “Prince Vandal of Novgorod“ - has already been successfully used in the Kursk region.
Now the Chinese company Skywalker Technology Co., Ltd from Wuhan (yes, that same city with the virus) has showcased their version. The drones have interchangeable fibre optic spools - for 1, 5 and 10 kilometres. Due to the weight of the spools, the useful payload on the drone decreases depending on the variant.
The Chinese, no longer particularly shy, are showcasing attachments on these drones, currently in the form of a bottle. But it is already clear that the drones are intended for combat use.
