Highlights from the Evening Standard Theatre Awards 2016

The leading lights of theatre were honoured at a glitzy star-studded ceremony last night for the 62nd London Evening Standard Theatre Awards. Sunday night’s glittering ceremony at the Old Vic saw cultural icons including Dame Shirley Bassey, Maggie Smith, Elton John, Sir Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber turn out to celebrate theatre over the last year.
