“Song of Cherubim“ (Ize Cheruwimy) is a composition by Krzysztof Penderecki written in 1986 for mixed a cappella SSAATTBB chorus with Old Slavonic text. I was approached a while back to record this as a demo for an independent film, so I enlisted the talents of my friend Simone Lo Castro to record the tenor/bass parts. This is truly the most difficult piece of work I have ever sung! We enjoyed the challenge, and thought it turned out so well, we couldn’t resist making it into a video of our own. Please enjoy!
