The Three Admirals (1937)

Full title reads: “Pathetone now has pleasure in presenting - The Three Admirals - of variety and Radio renown“. Pathe Studios, London. Male voice trio. The three men in tuxedos sing song - “Love Marches On“. In between the verses, they perform a comedy sketch. One of the men plays part of narrator, one plays a husband, the other a wife. The sketch has same plot as ’Brief Encounter’ - the couple meet in a railway station! We them going from romantic lovers to bitter married couple. In the sketch the man playing part of woman has high screeching voice like something out of ’Monty Python’.
