He began his guitar studies with his mother, Fernanda Lopes, and began formal studies with Daniel Mendes Eilers in 2007. Later, in 2011, he joined the Extension Course in Musical Instruments at UFRGS, where he was a student of Paulo Inda and Rubens Baggio Lima.
