Minolta / Sony A mount & E mount A99ii, A7Rii, 80-200mm f2.8 G, 70-200mm f2.8 G SSM, LA-EA3, LA-EA4

Just sharing some info I have learned after using these cameras and lenses. Note that I shoot action like rodeos, barrel racing, pole bending, bronc riding, ext. Most people around just shoot a mega zoom f5.6 - 6.3 something-or-other and are happy with everything in focus. That is a lot easier but I really don’t like that look. I like a blurry foreground and background and a very narrow files of focus. However that makes it very difficult to keep the focus on the riders face. That is the challenge and that is what I love. Thankfully the seller of the 70-200 SSM agreed to take it back for repairs.
