[What if] Bruce Lee Deepfake in Ip Man 4

DEEPFAKE TECHNICIANS► Patrick Nan & Lili Doan THOUGHTS► So I’ve been spending time learning how to make Deepfakes for the past 6 months. This all started when I saw Corridor Digital’s Luke Skywalker DF video, and it was really well done. Therefore, I decided to look into Deepfakes cause I had one scene in mind that I wanted to see, Bruce Lee’s face on Danny Chan’s. But while that was happening, a lot of talk of Bruce Lee’s portrayal in Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood came back into the limelight. Not to go into it, I watched the movie, I’ve listened to both sides, and truth be told, seeing how he was handled really sucked. Now in Ip Man 4’s case, Lee is shown to be more human, and Chan really brought him to life. And what I took from CD’s video was that you still need your actor to perform so they feel alive. And he’s pulled off a great performance even without needing to resort to CG. However, I still wanted to see what it’d be like if they took the DF approach. Could I use my VFX knowledge to perform a good deepfake?
