The Locust: Live at London Forum 2004 This was the first of two nights in support of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs at the London forum. The second night was way more brutal as far as retaliation from the audience and the violent energy in the air. For this performance, you can notice the umbrella on the stage next to Gabe’s kit, which covered his sampler. This was to cover it from the pints of beer and garbage that was thrown at us during the set. The following night, the band has purchased a handful more umbrellas to cover pedal boards, synths, etc. The booing from the audience isn’t as impressive on video here as compared to how it was in person. To achieve that much distain is a win for a band like The Locust.
