“Dreams“ emerged from a period of disillusionment with my craft, only to realise I’m just starting to speak its language. Those moments I mistook for stagnation were, in fact, silent periods of growth, reflecting my deepest fears and truths. The discomfort I felt in my skin during my teenage years still lingers unless I’m enveloped in the safety of my hoop. This ’toy’ has led me to a life far beyond my wildest dreams, letting me discover parts of me I would never have met, felt and eventually, softly released. But I think I’m finally ready to explore what lies beyond. :) This film is an exploration of the internal conversations and the layers we peel to return to ourselves.
