Iron Maiden - The Trooper - Cover - Gabriela Gunčíková - 4K - Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy One of the things that I find most interesting (and fun) about working with Gabriela Gunčíková, is that her goal is to take on the most difficult pieces she can possibly sing (which are usually songs that are dominated by male vocalists). I remember first meeting Gabriela way back in her “Superstar“ (Czech TV singing competition) days. When I asked her who one of her favorite vocalists was, she told me Bruce Dickinson! I kind of found that hard to believe because, who is this beautiful late-teenager Czech girl whose main vocal inspiration is Bruce Dickinson? And then, I found out that when she was really young, she only listened to pop and Euro pop music. Her father would take the family on long drives to the ocean from their small village in the Czech Republic. And on those drives he would blast out Iron Maiden, Helloween, Judas Priest, and many other 80s hard rock acts. Gabriela told me that when she heard those bands, it set a fire inside her, and she literally could no longer listen to pop music again, but wanted to sing like Bruce Dickinson!
