How to let it go taking care for yourself, being kind and respectfull to yourself, not denying, not supressing, not pushing your feelings? To forgive is really worth doing. If we don’t - our heart locks itself, becomes hard and isolated - we loose the joy of life. So the resentment is a vital sign to come back to yourself - to care and accept, to believe and support.
