The Most Impressively Impractical Fantasy Sword!

I’ve seen a lot of fantasy designs in movies and videos games that would be very ineffective in real life (at least if used by regular humans). But this one takes the cake, as the user is not usually endangered on such an epic level. So I couldn’t resist over-analyzing it for its practical functionality... or lack thereof.
