Experimental Super Cub Valdez STOL champ Frank Knapp’s ’Lil Cub“

I caught up to this unusual hybrid experimental Super Cub from Alaska at Oshkosh 2016. Traveling with my riding buddy Pete Hegge of Madison Wisconsin. Here’s some more accurate info from the owner...“No we drove down.. 60 is cruse! Empty is about 800# now days.. It WAS 685# with C85 and less junk. In the right conditions it’s a hoot! Had it out this AM 16mph (GPS) with 5-6 on the nose.“ Thanks Frank!
