Tchaikovsky - Symphony No. 4 | grand piano + digital orchestra
John Bereslavsky (grand piano) and Teo Leonov (digital orchestra).
This piece of music reveals the composer’s pain because of Russia has lost its archetype as well as his love for the true motherland.
John Bereslavsky’s comment on the performance: While playing I mind one and only concept, it’s an incredible joy of a new pure life which feels a man who defeated death. This joy doesn’t exist on the Earth yet a human soul is always thirsty for it. This masterpiece contains different aspects like a deep sorrow caused by a lost of one’s beloved neighbours, inevitable parting, separation from homeland… but also it represents a universal catharsis, a joy of eternal life in the Divine civilization.
