I am a victim of CSA/rape as a child of 11/12 years old. I reported the abuse I endured to South Wales Police in April 2019. My abuser was CHARGED with 9 counts of rape of a child [me] South Wales Police did NOT arrest my abuser, they did not follow procedures & they did not collate the evidence that was required to prove that he IS guilty. As a result of their negligence, a child rapist walked free. On the 13th June 2022, I was asked to attend a VA interview by South Wales Police on accusations of harassment of my abuser [told that I would be arrested if I did not attend] My priority was always to raise awareness and protect the public. He IS a real danger to the community....... He has multiple convictions for violent offences & DV.. SWP will not take ANY action to safeguard the public. They will NOT listen. SOUTH WALES POLICE HAVE CAUSED IRREPARABLE PSYCHOLOGICAL HARM & INJURY. THEY HAVE RE-TRAUMATISED ME AND BECOME MY ABUSERS. Thank you to Counsellor, Dr, Gail John - my appropriate adult who did not leave my side throughout my attendance at the Police station and afterwards. I was deemed to ’lack capacity’ for interview by the South Wales Police medical examiner on MH grounds. South Wales Police did not interview me - but the CPS has been sent the file to decide if I am to be charged or not.
