The difference between Gas, Ethanol, E85, and Kerosene.
Larry, Ag in the Classroom Coordinator for McHenry County Farm Bureau shows us differences in fuel emissions, first looking at a 90% gasoline / 10% ethanol, then E85 - 15% gasoline / 85% ethanol, then 2 cycle fuel - a gasoline/oil mixture, lastly kerosene, which is used for some airplanes. After viewing the burning of just one chemistry stick, you can see that ethanol burns much cleaner than gas.
