🔘Product of Imagination is the debut album of the German thrash metal band Paradox. It was released in 1987 through Roadrunner Records. Product of Imagination was reissued by the German label High Vaultage Records in 1999, containing four bonus tracks. The German thrashers Paradox have never enjoyed the fortune, and success, of their other generational companions. A shame. It’s the price to pay for being crazy bastards, skull-crushers. A bitch, without a doubt. But the enjoyment that we, our fans, had... uffff, that is truly an anthology. For proof, their debut: “Product of Imagination.“ A great album, with a whiff of combos of the mood of Rage, the first Helloween, Metallica, Warrant (not the glammies, eh?), Scanner or Deathrow, and, all of this, soaked (and well soaked) in German, rude Thrash , moody, dirty, urban and toothless. Ideal, wow. Are you coming to discover Paradox? I’m sure they end up being cool to you. I’m betting on your salary. The album is not a peak of anything, in fact, there is a lot of well-established pattern, but the way of focusing, of focusing on the material, is what makes “Product of Imagination“ a work to take into account. The disc cannot be touched with your hands. It’s got quills, like a fucking hedgehog. It’s a sharp disc. Paradox are not masters of anything, they do not come to change anything (rather, in honor of the truth, they come to remake already existing moves, and for a long time) but, it is clear, that the collection of riffs, melodies, screams, and how they have been combined, do not come out of the minds of anyone.
