6 ’barrel bombs’ cause huge explosion in Syria

Syrian activists in Daraya reported on Monday (November 9) that regime helicopters dropped at least six barrel bombs on the rebel-held city in Western Ghouta. The Local Council of Daraya said that at least one person was killed and several wounded in the bombardment. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights alleged through local sources that Syrian regime forces were also launching missiles, believed to be ground-to-ground, on the Damascus suburb.
