As before, the most targeted settlements were in the Belgorod, Donetsk, and Kherson regions. ▪️ Last week, the Donetsk agglomeration remained the most affected area, with the highest number of attacks by the AFU and casualties. Between January 22 and January 28, the territory of the DPR was hit by 409 shells, resulting in more than 30 injuries and five civilian deaths. ▪️ In the border regions of Russia, there were no significant changes. The majority of attacks occurred in the Belgorod region, where at least 332 shells and dozens of drones were fired, causing injuries. Several settlements in the Kursk and Bryansk regions were also targeted. ▪️ The situation is also challenging on the left bank of the Kherson region, which once again became a target for the enemy. Over the course of a week, the AFU fired approximately 217 units of ammunition, resulting in damage to residential buildings and infrastructure, three civilian injuries, and one fatality. ▪️ In the rear regions of Russia, Ukrainian drones attempted to attack objects in the administrative center of the Oryol region. However, the air defense systems of the Russian Armed Forces successfully shot down the drones in the sky over the Zheleznodorozhny and Northern regions of Orel.
