BLAST OFF: Kuaizhou-1A brings up first Chinese space launch of 2024

BOOM! China has made its first launch in 2024! A #Kuaizhou1A carrier rocket blasted off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China at 7:20 p.m. (Beijing Time) on Friday, sending Tianmu-1 15,16,17,18 meteorological satellites into orbit. At 1120 UTC today a Kuaizhou-1A solid rocket lifted off from Jiuquan carrying the Tianmu-1 (15-18) GNSS radio occultation satellites successfully to orbit.
