In the Roller / Slip test, you can feel that it’s FWD-based. It seems to struggle more in reverse than forward. The best result was achieved in Normal or Mud mode at full throttle. Leave TCS ON, it’s no use when it’s OFF and gives similar results. Expect also similar results with the Nissan Rogue. The system will offer greater handling on the tarmac and on a snow-covered road, but when facing a real challenge like sand, roller, and our test hill, S-AWC is not what it use to be!
