The Next Mission - Recovery of B-17G from Lake Dyke in Labrador

Recovery of B-17G Serial No. 44-83790 that made a forced landing in Dec 23, 1947 on Lake Dyke in Labrador. Lt. Chester M. Kearney was the pilot of the B-17. The B-17 was raised from the bottom of Lake Dyke by Don Brooks and team in August of 2004. The aircraft is currently under restoration to flying condition in Douglas, GA.
