Canada’s support of Ukraine rooted in keeping peace, supporting people: Trudeau | FULL

During a press conference on Wednesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said decisions regarding Canada’s support of the Ukraine, amid escalating tensions with Russia, will be rooted in keeping peace while supporting the Ukrainian people. “We have been there as part of Operation Unifier, training and supporting Ukrainian soldiers and the Ukrainian military,” said the prime minister. “We’ve been there with supports in many different ways and we will continue to be.” This comes as Ottawa sent a small group of Canadian Special Forces to Ukraine.
