Rada has “made the first step“ towards the mobilization of women, - MP Razumkov. ▪️ The bill 12076, which was passed in the first reading, has a norm in which women who have passed basic military training automatically become on the military register and can be mobilized even if she is not a medic, the MP said and called for this norm to be removed by the second reading. ▪️ The bill was passed on December 3. Under it, women who meet health and age requirements and have expressed a desire to do basic military service will be counted in the military registration of conscripts before being sent for service. After completing basic military service, they will be registered as conscripts. ▪️ It is also compulsory for men to undergo a medical examination before undergoing practical training, and for women, if they so wish.
