Enemies of the Soul

In this video Dada explains how the six enemies of the mind can be channelized so that their inimical qualities are transformed into assets for our spiritual growth. The six enemies are all interrelated: desire, anger, greed, attachment, pride and jealousy. The enemies of the mind are also part of us, so killing them means we are killing a part of ourselves which is not advisable. So instead of killing them Dada explains that their energies can be channelized to a subtler goal. The subtle goal is the Omnipresent Supreme Consciousness which is the object of our meditation. He advises patience and continuous practice of channelization as we create new neural pathways that will divert the flows of these negative emotions into their positive counterparts. 0:00 What does ’enemies’ mean and what is our goal? 2:56 Six heads of one demon 5:35 To kill the beasts or to tame them? 6:25 4 ways to deal with emotions 16:54 How to experience happiness during meditation? 20:23 What ruins
