English/Español CANADIANS MEDEVIL RELEASE LYRIC VIDEO FOR THE FIRST SINGLE “AMONG THIEVES” FROM THEIR UPCOMING ALBUM “MIRROR IN THE DARKNESS” OUT ON APRIL 2023 If you are a fan of bands like Grave Digger, Metal Church or Accept, this band is for you. This band from Vancouver, British Columbia presents a powerful sound that is very reminiscent of European Heavy/Power with “rabiosa“ in the style of the Germans Udo Dirkschneider or Chris Boltendahl from Grave Digger with a powerful touch of Thrash, which gives them a interesting atmosphere that recreates the old European school, but with a current sound of the groups of the New Wave of True Heavy Metal. In the summer of 2015 they competed in the Wacken Metal Battle Canada, ranking as one of the national finalists, and later in 2016 they released their debut album “Conductor of Storms“ from which the singles released: “The Angel of Rain“, “Machination Factory“ and “Nightwalk“ for which they released their first official video. It took seven years and a plandemic for them to return with a new album, “Mirror in Darkness“, which will be released next April 2023 and which is dedicated to the drummer who recorded the album, Chris Malcomson. The band has already released the first single “Mirror in Darkness“, for which they have produced a Lyric Video and which presents us with a more “Thrasher“ sound compared to their first album, as well as the rest of this “Mirror in Darkness“ which as we mentioned it is more oriented to the German Heavy/Power Metal sound a la Grave Digger. The band spent a lot of time considering the flow of the album, from fast and energetic to dark and brooding, so there’s a lot of variety that will emerge from a methodical listen to the order they’ve placed song by song, which listening to it this way will yield the atmospheric experience that the group wanted to create for whoever listens to this album. “Mirror in the Darkness” comes out on April 7, 2023. La banda ya ha lanzado el primer sencillo “Mirror in Darkness“, del cual han elaborado un Video Lirico y que nos presenta un sonido más “Thrasher“ en comparación con su primer album, así como el resto de este “Mirror in Darkness“ que como mencionabamos está más orientado al sonido Heavy/Power Metal alemán a la Grave Digger.
