Biggest Dam nova kakhovka Breaks! Floods Drown One City in Ukraine The Russian-appointed mayor of Nova Kakhovka City, Vladimir Leontyev, said the city in southern Ukraine was submerged after a dam burst on Tuesday. The water level rose several meters in a matter of hours. The overflow of water also crossed the war zone of the two countries. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also accused Ukraine of sabotaging the dam to divert attention from its chaotic counterattack. The Kakhovka Dam is an embankment 30 meters high and 3.2 kilometers long. This dam contains the same water as the Great Salt Lake in the US state of Utah. Kakhovka was built in 1965 on the Dnipro River as part of the Kakhovka hydropower plant. The dam also supplies water to the Crimea peninsula, which Russia annexed in 2014, and to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant which is also under Kremlin control. Thank you for watching my video.
