T-90M Breakthrough tanks in combat Watch the combat work of T-90M Breakthrough tanks’ crews of the Western Military District during the performance of fire missions at the forefront. Their fire missions are to provide fire support to the advancing assault detachments and destroy enemy infantry in strong points. Using the terrain and natural shelters, the crews of modernised T-90M tanks advance to the line opening fire, destroy the manpower of Ukrainian formations in strongholds, and also suppress its firing points, allowing assault troops to advance deep into enemy defenses. Tankers successfully hit targets located at a considerable distance and beyond line of sight. Based on the coordinates obtained with the help of drones, observation posts, ammunition depots, as well as Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel in strongholds are destroyed. During the execution of missions from closed firing positions, the crew had to move onto the route, obtain the coordinates of the enemy stronghold and use a 125-mm cannon to inflict destruction with high-explosive fragmentation shells.
