Birth of the Constitution of Japan After World War II

After the firebombings and the agonies of war, Japan emerged from the ashes of World War II with a national constitution after a translator’s error. General Douglas MacArthur pushed forward with post-war Japan’s future and rebuilding to once again be a world economic power. The latter portion of this video has Japan’s Constitution in English.
