Learn How to Draw & Paint “BOOT BOUQUET“ with Acrylic -Paint and Sip at Home - Still Life Art Lesson
PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION – Are you a beginner painter? Want to learn how to paint with acrylics? Looking for an easy spring painting idea? Let me be your acrylic art instructor as I teach you easy step-by-step instructions throughout this fun beginner art video as you learn how to paint a bouquet of flowers growing out of a boot—an easy floral still life painting, “Boot Bouquet”. There have certainly been some catchy songs over the years. You know the ones I’m talking about, where you just have to belt out a tune and sing along regardless of where you are or how bad you sound. YMCA by the Village People, LIVING ON A PRAYER by Jon Bon Jovi, WE WILL ROCK YOU by Queen, BEAT IT, by Michael Jackson, DON’T’ STOP BELIEVIN’ by Journey, KARMA CHAMELEON by Culture Club, LIKE A VIRGIN by Madonna, just to name a few. I probably really just dated myself there because I’m sure most people half my age would disagree with me on most of these, and, of course, everyone has their preferences, favorite bands and so on. But what was funny for me was that I could not get that song THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKIN’ by Nancy Sinatra out of my head the whole time I was painting this image. I changed the lyrics a little bit because I’m weird like that, to something more fitting to the image. Because these boots are made for growing! And growing season is here! That’s right—it’s springtime which means bright beautiful flowers everywhere. That’s one of the best things about flower season, is getting creative as to where you plant seeds. A flowerpot, mason jar, old hat, piggy bank, blender, mailbox, shoe, or wherever you want! So, join me and celebrate springtime and paint this spring image of flowers growing out of a high heel vintage boot. The painting process is so easy to follow and learn from. First, you’ll learn how to use simple painting techniques for blending colors and adding depth and atmospheric dimension to create beautiful rustic dramatic country background with bright sunny colors, perfect for capturing the spring season. Then after learning how to draw an outline for the boot vase and flowers, you’ll apply a simple base coat to work off of. Then you’ll learn how to paint the shoe by blending and layering the colors, adding highlights and shadows to create texture, form, depth and dimension, creating a realistic 3-D appearance like a photograph. Then you’ll use a one brushstroke technique to paint your flowers, petals, stems and leaves with ease. You can personalize your painting in any way you want. Paint roses, daisies, pansies, tulips, daffodils, or orchids. Paint a cowboy boot, work boot, garden boot, or sneaker. This is a painting inspired by the power of imagination, so feel free to use yours! Using only 3 brushes and 8 colors, you’ll paint like a professional! Have a date night at home, paint party, paint and sip event, or virtual paint night. Paint with gouache, oil paint, or watercolor, any medium will work! Paint just for fun or for art therapy. It’s an easy art project. I hope you enjoy watching this YouTube art video where you will learn how to paint flowers, how to paint a shoe, and how to paint a floral bouquet, so let’s get painting and let’s get sipping!
