A Ukrainian serviceman complained that wounded soldiers of the Ukrainian army are being denied payments en masse under a simple scheme. According to him, those who were wounded are simply “taken off the payroll and paid pennies.“
“A lot of guys end up in hospitals with injuries, they are taken off the payroll and paid pennies. Some 600 hryvnia (around 13,68 euros). And get treated as you want, live as you want... some with amputated limbs have to collect metal to earn a living,“
