I was curious what it would look like to film with the camera held vertically and attach an anamorphic lens that’s turned by 90 degrees. So I took my Isco Ultra Star and the Voigtländer Ultron 40mm f/2 as taking lens and tried it out over the holidays (with my trusty S1H).
With the classic anamorphic sensor ratio of 4:3 (3:4 when held vertically), that results in a very pleasing photographic 3:2 aspect ratio with loads of character. The problem is that I don’t have a monitor that can desqueeze this weird pi
