He’s been one of the most prolific producers of the last 3 decades, and been making amazing beats during this stretch. His production style is very unique, and in this tutorial video, I am going to be breaking down 3 techniques that he uses in many of his beats (primarily from the early 2000s). I cover some of Timbalands sampling philosophies, and how you can use samples in ways that you may not have thought of before. Timbaland’s approach to percussion is yet another very interesting concept worth examining, which I do in this video. Lastly, the idea of resampling is very prominent in beats, so I cover that beatmaking technique in this tutorial video as well.
