Mice eat albatross ALIVE

Viewer discretion is advised I shot this graphic footage during my doctoral research. It shows invasive house mice at Gough Island, eating a Tristan Albatross chick alive. Towards the end of the clip, you can see a mouse inserting its head into the hole that has been bitten through the body wall of the hapless chick, and it is feeding on the birds internal organs. This chick died later that night. Hundreds of albatross chicks suffer gruesome deaths from mouse attacks each year at Gough and Marion islands.
