This song is featured as a bonus track on our latest album, PFC3: Songs Around The World Vinyl! Get it here: In 2011, Playing For Change joined forces with the United Nations Population Fund and the Millennium Development Goals Achievement Fund for UNFPA’s 7 Billion Actions campaign. By the end of that year, the world population reached 7 billion, and this global campaign strove to bring awareness to the opportunities and challenges that the population growth would present. 7 billion people means 7 billion hearts, and music has always been the best way to speak to the hearts of the people. We traveled across the globe, put headphones on musicians, added them to the track, and created “United,” which serves as a tangible example of something positive we can all do together as a human race. JOIN THE MOVEMENT Subscribe to our mailing list: Become a member: GET SOCIAL Playing For Change (PFC) is a movement created to inspire and connect the world through music, born from the shared belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. The primary focus of PFC is to record and film musicians performing in their natural environments and combine their talents and cultural power in innovative videos called Songs Around The World. Creating these videos motivated PFC to form the Playing For Change Band—a tangible, traveling representation of its mission, featuring musicians met along their journey; and establish the Playing For Change Foundation—a separate 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to building music and art schools for children around the world. Through these efforts, Playing For Change aims to create hope and inspiration for the future of our planet. To learn more about the work of the PFC Foundation, visit
