At least 10 emergency service staff were injured and several protesters arrested during a demonstration against regional COVID-19 restrictions in Bautzen. Protesters were seen lighting flares and smoke grenades on the street, with scuffles breaking out between participants and local police. Several attendees were arrested at the scene. According to police reports, at least 10 emergency service officers were injured during the rally.
