How do architecture and art interact in a museum? | Annabelle Selldorf: The Linbury Lecture 2023
How do you design a space for art? Architects respond in many ways to specific collections and curatorial narratives to engage us with work of arts. And they provide literal and figurative space for contemplation and dialogue.
Annabelle Selldorf, the founding principal of New York City-based Selldorf Architects, delivers the 2023 Linbury lecture, exploring the relationship of architecture to art in museum settings.
The annual Linbury Lecture invites world-renowned speakers to deliver illustrated lectures exploring themes relating to the National Gallery’s history and collections.
