’The English Apple’ by Rosanne Sanders is back in print! It is now titled ’The Apple Book’ by Rosie Sanders, but as far as I can tell (let the buyer take care) it is the very same book. It is our favourite apple book by a mile. Our well used 1998 copy is a bit worn and we no longer take it out of the house except once a year for our Apple Day event to use to help identify apples. I saw a copy on Ebay recently, bidding was at £90. Amazon are selling it HALF PRICE as a special offer, only £. I have ordered 2 copies, one to use, one to wrap up and lock away in a safe place for the future. I cannot possibly recommend this book too highly to anyone who loves the English apple. Worth buying for the gorgeous watercolour pictures alone, then you have to add the historical and other details for each fruit. It would also be worth buying for the text and diagrams which contain pretty much all you will ever need to know about apple growing. This is a good day for
