One of the hardest projects I had to work on, as the face of Queen Victoria was always changing during her life, from teenager to maturity, while she struggled with depression and obesity. Queen Victoria is associated with Britain’s great age of industrial expansion, economic progress and, especially, empire. Victoria gave birth to 9 children who got married into royal and noble families across the continent, earning Victoria the sobriquet “The Grandmother of Europe.“ We also look at the face of her husband Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, the Prince consort.
