Scalyfoot Tail Drop

The impressive distraction display of a Common Scalyfoot (Pygopus lepidopodus). This video shows the dropped tail acting very much like a live snake (or in this case: legless lizard), and I didn’t start recording until over a minute after it started! This is from the Southern Cross area of Western Australia.
